After our usual go-to pizza place closed down, we tried circle pizza and we were very impressed with the pizza takeout. We are a picky family when it comes to pizza so the bar was high. If you are after a pizza night, then look no further! The sausage pizza was particularly good. They also do a decent gluten free pie as we have someone in our family who has a gluten sensitivity.
The BEST pizza you will EVER have. We have been visiting circle pizza for over 20 years. We visit every summer when we are vacationing in Avalon, NJ. We wish having their pizza wasn’t just limited to our summer vacations. Also, their cheesesteak eggrolls with the spicy ketchup is 10/10. Circle is a must stop if you are on vacation in Avalon. The pizza is Always hot and delicious with multiple Options. The cheesesteak is filled to the brim with meat and cheese. Honey hot chicken cheesesteak is top notch And the cheesesteak egg rolls are great to share with the family. I highly recommend circle if you are in Avalon!!

Mario’s two daughters, Eleonora and Camilla, along with their husbands, Paul Buchanan and Joseph Damiri opened Avalon Pizza on 23rd and Ocean Drive in 1968. We have been serving the best pizza in Avalon and Stone Harbor since then, and in Sea Isle since 2000. Our secret is simple. Over the years all of the grandchildren and their children, have been elbow-deep in pizza dough. Working in the restaurants became a rite of passage, where many a family memory was made. This “family” includes all the cousins and friends who worked with us over the years from the early mornings in the dough rooms to the wild and crazy late nights, managing the hungry crowds. Truly unique thin crust pizza. The best in Avalon. Great sauce that is a little sweet. Been enjoying this place for over 20 years. Really a great spot.
During our time in Avalon, my daughter's and I stopped to grab a bite to eat. We had the soup, 2 slices of pizza, the cheese burger deluxe and the veggie burger deluxe. The food was all great, the vegetable soup had great flavor, the pizza was thin crust cooked well and great flavor, the burger was big and tasty along with the fries and the veggie burger was delicious which was mine. This was our first time at circle pizza and wont be our last.
